The Trout at Tadpole Bridge Wedding Oxford
Erica and Gavin married at the very beautiful Trout at Tadpole Bridge in Oxfordshire. It was my first time shoot here and its a lovely pub. The gardens of the pub roll down to the River Thames where boats can stop for a pint except on a wedding day.
I photographed Erica upstairs in one of the rooms of The Trout. It was such a lovely relaxed morning with her hairdresser and friends. I photographed her beautiful custom made wedding dress hanging in the room with Erica’s stunning shoes.
The groomsmen where all outside so I took the opportunity to photograph them in the lovey gardens. The gardens looked beautiful, all set up for an outside ceremony. The gazebo had been decorated in the most beautiful flowers – so colourful and pretty.
Wedding guests started arrived for this Oxford wedding. Soon it was time to get married. Erica walked out into the gardens with her Dad as Gavin waited for her at the end of the aisle.
The ceremony was stunning, lots a smiles and happiness. Part of the ceremony was outside and the official part was inside the gazebo with the registrars. Once the ceremony was complete Erica and Gavin walked through a cloud of confetti.
The wedding reception was laid back affair in the garden. All the wedding guests enjoyed food and drinks as I shot their formal group shots. The children enjoyed a bouncy castle, which was really fun the photograph. Soon I borrowed the bride and groom for their portraits. We walked a loop of the gardens and the river bank, it was fantastic.
Everyone was called for food and after all the seats were taken the speeches started. So many smiles and giggles to capture. The cake was cut and the evening guests arrived. This was my cue to leave and let them continue to party.
