Summer Great Tythe Barn Wedding – Gloucestershire
Amy and Ben both got ready in Tythe House a gorgeous property on site. Its so big the groomsmen were able to get ready upstairs out of sight of the bridal party. I started the day capturing shots of Amy and her bridesmaids. They had beautiful makeup and their hair put up into classic undo’s. Then I went to find the boys putting on kilts. Kilts have a lot of accessories to them so it was quite entertaining photographing them putting on their outfits. Next I took the groomsmen out on the lawn for whisky and photos.
Guests started to arrived and stood outside in the sunshine. Once it was time to take their seats in the Barn they all walked in taking in the gardens. Amy soon walked across the courtyard with her Dad and bridesmaids – I love to get this shot. She entered the Barn and down the aisle towards Ben. The ceremony was lovely and soon everyone headed outside for a drink on the sunny lawn.
I photographed all the guests enjoying the afternoon. There were plenty of smiles and candid moments to capture. Amy, Ben and I headed off for couple shots in the Barn gardens. We also managed to get some shots with their cute little daughter. The nod was given that food was ready and everyone headed back into the barn for the wedding breakfast and speeches. The speeches provided many laughs and the cake was cut. Soon evening guests arrived and the sun dipped. For one last set of portraits I suggested the bridal and grooms party all head to the field for some sunset shots. That was so much fun – all very relaxed. The first dance soon played and I headed home after a wonderful day in their company.
