Christie & James’ Owlpen Manor Wedding, Gloucestershire
Christie got ready with her bridesmaids in a beautiful converted mill at Owlpen Manor in Gloucestershire. It was a stunning rustic building hidden in the grounds of the manor. Christie had her hair and makeup done looking out at the grounds. Watching her lovely dog run around the front garden. I managed (just) to get up the very steep stairs to photographer all the dresses hanging up. I did hit my head pretty hard on a beam but managed to not fall back down the stairs. It was a very fun morning indeed.
The Dog Friendly Ceremony
After I left the girls I headed through the grounds to find the groomsmen getting ready. The backdrop at Owlpen Manor was stunning. We used the old iconic steps and the lawns. The guests were soon arriving for the ceremony being held in the Cider Barn. Everyone turned to watch Christie and her girls walk down the aisle including their beautiful dog. The ceremony was gorgeous. After we all walked out into the bright sunlight we tossed confetti.
The drinks reception was held on the terrace lawn. The formal group shots were taken up here with the beautiful manor as a backdrop. Once guests were called for food they all headed back through the gardens and into the cute marquee all set up for their wedding picnic. After food and speeches the music started. It was so fun to capture all the dancing.
Thank you Christie and Jake for having such a beautiful wedding.
