Hi I’m Christy a Gloucestershire wedding photographer.
Not sure what a pre wedding shoot is? Not sure if you should book one?
Ok lets have a chat:
What is a Pre Wedding Shoot?
A pre wedding shoot is a separate shoot to your wedding day. Its a dry run at your couple shots. It can be at your wedding venue or some place different.
Why book a pre wedding shoot?
It gives us time to get to know each other and practice your couple portraits. Having this shoot before your wedding can eliminate your nerves and helps you relax in-front of the camera.
When should we do the shoot?
You can book your shoot anytime between now and 6 weeks before your wedding. Some couples book a winter shoot if they are having a summer wedding or vice versa. Other couples will book their shoot a year to the date before their wedding. My favourite time would be to start just before sunset. The choice really is up to you.
What should we wear to the shoot?
Wear something that is comfortable, thats you. Wear your favourite dress or bowtie, wear cost scarfs or wellies. I suggest you avoid a top with a logo on or writing as it can distract from your lovely faces. Also make sure your footwear is suited to the location because if you have stilettos or suede boots in the wet woods your shoes are going to hamper your fun.
How much does a wedding wedding shoot cost?
They are £195. The shoot is for an hour to 1.5 hours and includes a link to all the images after the shoot. You don’t have to have a wedding photography booking with me to take advantage of a pre wedding shoot.
